Whenever the we...Dear Northwest Arkansas Beekeeper,<br />Whenever the weather is around 50 degrees Fahrenheit, it is safe to briefly open your bee hives. You do not want to make a thorough examination of your hive at cool temperatures. Here, you are only checking to see if there are live bees present and if they have honey available.
